You can find narcissism in and outside of religion. God didn't make perfect people. I at least know I am far from perfect. I actually wished I was invisible growing up. That definitely didn't work out.

My sister and brothers decided to not tell me my baby brother passed away and I found out through an attorney who handled my baby brother’s small estate where I also found out they all disinherited me. All because I got tired of their abuse. I did blow up on them and apologized I’m still a mess over this. So I’m studying Spiritual Healing and remain no contact. Mine threw a fit when I wanted to file and told me to my face he wont sign anything. He then started getting himself ready to file and even called dhs on me, took a no contact order and filed harrasment charges on me then withheld the kids for six weeks denying me any right to talk to them yet they were not included in no contact. He actually went with a narcissistic attorney and he has continually filed for motions after motions. He has been worst nightmare and I just want the divorce to be finalized so I can have my peace of mind.

Then you get to see an absolute smooth talking monster that twists your words, and falsly accuses you of the very things that are in his own heart.

Gosh I wish I had the internet in my youth cause all of it could have been avoided. I was always searching for information or feedback to give me clarity on what I was dealing with and whether it was worth it to stay- nevermind the narcissistic family I barely survived. I had developed anorexia and bulimia at 16 and at 17 was under 40 lbs and the hospital told me that they didn’t know how I was still alive. I took that as a sign that there was more to live for. I sure hope I wasn’t just telling myself stories. Needless to say my family just wanted me to die already - except my grandma - although she only stepped up once I was at death’s door. What a fucked up life!

12 years after my divorce I finally got that- the ultimate move - no contact - despite children. It’s all gone now. It’s a good thing I see life as more than ‘what is’ cause I’d just want to die

We have to do court ordered joint/grp/individual co parenting therapy. plus he is ordered to do his own individual therapy at his cost. will he go or take contempt?

I beg to differ...they DO know what an actual apology is! I find that the problem is that they think YOU don't know the wording 'architecture'. They think that just because you heard the words I'm sorry, then that's a sign that you don't 'break down'/dissect/analyze what someone is conveying to you. But...TY for opening our eyes (and brains) to where we need to educate ourselves.
